Some senior sessions just click — and Olivia’s sunrise senior pictures in Grand Rapids, Ohio were exactly like that.


Olivia is a Perrysburg High School senior from the Class of 2025, and from the moment we started her Signature Senior Session, I knew we were going to create something really special. Between the calm of an early morning session, the dreamy blooms at GardenView Flowers, and the charm of downtown Grand Rapids, OH, everything came together effortlessly.


And honestly? We just had the best time.

Why Sunrise Senior Sessions Are Worth It


Olivia had a sunrise senior session, and this is one of my absolute favorite options — especially for summer seniors. Early mornings give us:

  • Soft, glowing light that’s incredibly flattering
  • Cooler temperatures (no sweaty hair or makeup melting!)
  • Fewer crowds, which means relaxed photos and more freedom to move


There’s also something really peaceful about starting the day together. The energy is calm, unhurried, and focused — which always translates beautifully in photos.

GardenView Flowers: A Senior Photo Dream


GardenView Flowers is one of my go-to locations within 30 minutes of Toledo, Ohio, and it was perfect for Olivia. The flowers were lush, colorful, and full of texture, giving us endless variety without feeling overwhelming. Olivia absolutely shined here — natural, confident, and completely herself.


Her mom was also a total gem throughout the entire session. Always ready to help, always encouraging, and so incredibly thoughtful — even offering to hold things for me (which is never expected, but always appreciated!). Having that kind of support makes the experience even more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Downtown Grand Rapids, OH: Classic & Timeless


After GardenView, we headed into downtown Grand Rapids, Ohio, where the brick textures, river views, and charming streets gave us a totally different look. This part of the session is where we really hit our groove.


You know it’s a great senior session when everything flows naturally — poses feel effortless, smiles are genuine, and we’re just creating amazing images back-to-back. Olivia handled outfit changes like a pro, and we captured such a beautiful mix of classic, modern, and fun senior portraits.

Ending the Senior Year the Best Way


One of my favorite parts of Olivia’s senior experience was getting to see her again at the end of the school year for her cap and gown photos. Documenting both the beginning and the end of senior year is truly the best way to tell the full story.


From her sunrise senior pictures to celebrating graduation — it’s the ultimate senior experience, and something I always encourage for my seniors.
